Participants in 'Model by Skype' paint and draw into projections of models posing remotely through a peer-to-peer network in real time. This is a project based on collaborative consumption; the models are found on Craigslist or on line modeling communities and volunteer their time in exchange for a drawing produced in the process.
While the lines of sight are not equal, each participant (model and painter) are integral parts of production.
